More About the
Motive Inc

THE MOTIVE INC
HOW WE GOT STARTED:
The Motive Inc was created following the 2020 Pandemic which changed the world we live in today.
Many of the camps, youth drop-in centres, and youth centred programs had to be put on hold as we found ways to social distance, provide safe environments and service youth in this new reality.
The Motive Inc was created as a response to that reality. We wanted to create a platform for all youth to embrace new ideas, an opportunity to express themselves and an opportunity to discover how to empower themselves and their community.
ABOUT US:
The Motive Inc is a collaborative that offers unique services in support of empowered, informed youth who will impact their communities. We help youth discover what their, leadership, wellness and self development looks like for them individually.
Our objective is to contribute to every youth we interact with and to inspire them to impact themselves, communities and the world in a way that is in line with their own self expression.
OUR INSPIRATION:
With many past and current social and collective movements for change being started by and lead by youth we look to individuals such as;
-
Greta Thurnburg - Swedish Climate Change Activist
-
Malala Yousafzai - Women’s and Girls Education
-
Parkland Shooting Survivors - Gun Control
-
Autumn Peltier - Canadian Clean Water advocate and Environmentalist
-
Larissa Crawford - Aims empower youth to engage as active citizens and fight for change in justice and policy systems.
-
And the list could go on and on!
