Future Leaders Camp

Service Description

The Future Leaders camp is designed to motivate youth to step into their leadership and turn the future into now! Topics include what leadership is, team dynamics, and communication. This camp is open to youth ages 14 - 18 years old. Camp runs every Thursday starting August 13th to September 3rd. Week 1 - Our Leaders will have an introduction to our online camp, who we are and our group norms and expectations. Our leaders will dive into the world of leadership by sharing what they think leaders are and by defining what leadership truly is. Our Leaders will then look into how their Beliefs, Values and Attitudes will impact not only their leadership but how they interact with other leaders and team mates. Week 2 - Our Leaders will take on “Failure” and discover how to create a new context to operate from, to enhance their ability to take on big challenges and goals. Our leaders will also dive into the world of goal setting and what it takes to create goals in order to become reliable result makers in their leadership. Week 3 - We take a look at what choices really are and how to make powerful choices. Our leaders also explore what projects they could take on that would impact their communities. From family bbq’s to Student lead tutoring at local high schools the choices and possibilities are endless! Our leaders then go through an 8 step process on project creation. Week 4 - Our last day, takes on conflict and how to create dialogue. Our Leaders cover leadership and Integrity and how it impacts their leadership. Our leaders explore the different styles of leadership and how they can mold who they are to become the powerful leaders we know them to be! This is also our day of acknowledgement and celebration for our time together.
